Orient Star has released two new M34 F8 Date models from the Contemporary Collection M34 featuring dial designs inspired by the Perseid meteor shower and a state-of-the-art high-performance movement mounted with a silicon escape wheel.
The regular model with a green dial features intricate stamped patterns inspired by the Perseid meteor shower as seen in the earlier blue dial model. Enhanced with optical multilayer film technology, the design allows the colours and patterns to shift beautifully depending on the viewing angle. This in-house developed optical multilayer technology creates colour tone effects on the metal plate by layering nano-level, near-transparent films that control the reflectance and transmittance of light. With this technology, it is possible to express the deep outer space, which would not be possible with normal painted dials.
