Orient Star has released two new M34 F8 Date models from the Contemporary Collection M34 featuring dial designs inspired by the Perseid meteor shower and a state-of-the-art high-performance movement mounted with a silicon escape wheel.
The new limited-edition black dial model depicts the Perseid meteor shower cascading across the night sky with nanoparticle metal multilayering technology. The gradation and smooth, thick, clear coating symbolise the vast depths of the universe. The nanoparticle metal multilayering technology is a new technique in which ink composed of nanometre-sized ultra-fine metal particles are layer injected several times onto the dial. This technology which is used in electronics, resulting in the creation of extremely delicate, elaborate dials with a sense of depth.
